These handmade designs are a great way to accessorise with other Elsie Sparrow garb or even spruce up your own look. Fabrics are recycled from retro material to give you a funky style and you can feel great knowing you’re saving the planet. They are presented on vintage question and answer game cards which will give you a 1 minute chuckle. Sounds like a good excuse for retail therapy to me.

This was the first thing that I ever made for Elsie Sparrow. My mum used to call me a her little Sparrow when I was a tot and it’s stuck with me ever since.  I used to doodle the bird all the time when I was at Art School, probably because I was missing my mum.

I redrew the design, dusted off the sewing machine and knocked up my first ever Elsie Bird. She’s not much to look at, but means everything to me. I found a local company selling English Lavender which smells AMAZING! She’s outdoors here, but looks just as good hanging around the house.
