A classic tin toy robot that makes you go ahhhh.

Bobbiput is from Space. Robots are usually really scary but he’s not. He moves really fast and has red ears and big feet and whizzy pointers on the belly. He is lots of fun. He makes a whirring sound when you turn his clockwork key. He wobbles forward, arms swinging. He’s blue and has smart red shoes.

Size: 16cm tall. I don’t recommended for under 3’s as has sharp edges and small parts.

Crochet animals are super cute and I wanted to make some for Elsie Sparrow. I found a great book on Japanese crafts called Mr Funky’s Super Crochet Wonderful which includes cool Amigurumi Animals.

Size: 30cm tall. I don’t want to recommended for under 3’s as they have pressed on eyes but I can make with stitched eyes too for the little ones.

Knitted sandwiches are funalicious

Knitted sandwiches are a great way to entertain the kids, especially outside where it doesn’t matter if they get sandy. They are so touchy-feely (can’t think of a posh word) and kids love playing with them and inventing games to act out. These fine examples include cheese and ham with a tomato, lettuce & onion combo. I only wish Tom & Katie would eat their real dinners with as much enthusiasm.
